The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) was formed in 2005 to promote development of the Nederland downtown. The DDA is funded by a property tax mil levy of ?? and tax increment financing (TIF) funds on properties within the DDA boundaries. The DDA board is appointed by the Board of Trustees and currently includes:

• Teresa Warren, Chair (until 2012)
• Ken Adler, Secretary (until 2012)
• Stephen Culver (until 2011)
• Will Guercio (until 2010)
• Ron Mitchell (until 2010)
• Betty Porter, Trustee Liaison
• Bunny Spangler (until 2011)

The Executive Director of the DDA is Paul Turnburke.

The DDA meets each first and third Thursday of the month at 8:00 a.m. at the Pioneer Inn restaurant.
